Day 1 Fly to Windhoek

Fly to Windhoek and pick up to the hotel by special car.

Day 2 Travel to the Namib Desert

Take a 4-hour ride to the Namib Desert and stay at the Wild Luxury Camp next to the main entrance of the Namib Reserve. If time permits, explore Cesrim Canyon or Elim Dunes, or order a cocktail and wait for the desert sunset in the pool.

Day 3 Namib Desert Excursion

In the early morning, enjoy the sunrise at the oldest sand dune of Susos Ville in the world. The guide explains the formation process of the desert and the characteristics of animals and plants that still survive tenaciously in this barren and barren land. Then take a walk in the Death Basin, formed 900 years ago, and enjoy a cozy outdoor breakfast in the shade of camel thorns. Rest at the camp in the afternoon and enjoy the desert scenery without leaving home.

Day 4 to Swakopmund

It’s a 5-hour bus ride across the Namib Desert. Although there are no scenic spots in the middle, the barren but wild landscape is quite magnificent. Eventually, we will arrive in the coastal city of Swakopmund, which retains the architectural features of the German colonial period. Free activities in the city before the evening, and enjoy the latest seafood dinner in Hong Kong in the evening.

Day 5 Swakopmund Tour

Scorching deserts and azure oceans meet and collide on the west coast of Namibia, and we will drive by car along the coastal road to Walvis Bay for a kayaking adventure, the perfect way to see seals, dolphins, pelicans and flamingos up close. Return to Swakopmund before late afternoon.

Day 6 Travel to Darmalan

A 4-hour ride via Brandberg, the highest peak in Namibia at 2,573 meters, leads to Dalmarand. In the afternoon, visit the world’s largest concentration of rock carvings-Decadent Fontaine, which was survived by the Bushmen in the Stone Age and depicts tribal history and etiquette customs, dating back more than 6,000 years.

Day 7 Full day tour of Dalmaran

Half-day safari in the morning, looking for rare elephants living in the desert (only two places in the world can be seen, the other in the Sahara Desert of Mali) and giraffes. Usually, an adult elephant eats and drinks 250 kilograms of plants and 180 liters of water every day, so it is impossible for elephants to survive in desert areas. The exception is elephants in Damaraland, where the territorial migration of elephants is usually 2,000 square kilometers, eight times that of elephants in East Africa, because only in this way can it be possible to find water and food.

If all the fellow travelers agree, the guide will arrange a picnic in the shade of the riverbed, leaving more time to track the elephants. Return to the hotel for a leisurely vacation in the afternoon, or start from the camp by yourself and enjoy the uninhabited desert scenery on foot.

Day 8: Travel to Ongwa Reserve

Head to Ongwa Private Reserve for a half-day off-road vehicle safari in the afternoon (led by camp guide) on 30,000 hectares of private property, tracking rhinos, lions, cheetahs and leopards in an OFF ROAD manner. In addition, the man-made pool in front of the camp often attracts herbivores to wander by.

Day 9 Etosha Safari All Day

Safari Etosha National Park all day long. Different from the grasslands of East Africa, the endless desert salt marsh here was a shallow lake until 3.5 million years ago, and now it is home to 114 species of mammals. You can often see six to eight different animals gathering together to drink water and play, such as lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras and antelopes.

Day 10 to the Big Cat Sanctuary

3 hours by car Ochihuarongo Big Cat Sanctuary, half-day afternoon safari. You can not only track cheetahs and leopards at close range, but also learn about the concepts and practices of international NGOs in protecting wildlife, including how to resettle animal orphans and help them return to the wild.

End of the trip on Day 11
